FMDL stands for Form, Mass, Design, Life — not just an acronym but our design manifesto. We believe every building has a responsibility: to respond to its context, reflect the culture it inhabits, and improve the life of every person who enters it.
We are sceptical of trends and obsessive about fundamentals — natural light, material honesty, spatial proportion, and the relationship between inside and outside. The studio is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and has delivered projects in Noida Extension, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, and across India since 2015.

Ar. Amrita Jena
CEO & Principal Architect
Amrita leads the architectural design process at FMDL with a rigorous eye for space, light, and material. With deep expertise in healthcare architecture, cultural institutions, and luxury residential design, she brings a contextual sensitivity to every project — understanding the client's culture and the site's geography before a single line is drawn. Based in Noida, with deep expertise in healthcare and cultural architecture across Delhi NCR.
Ar. Akshaay Kapoor
CMO & Business Head
Akshaay bridges design and business at FMDL. With a background in architecture and a sharp instinct for how design communicates brand and value, he leads client relationships, project strategy, and the firm's growth across new sectors and geographies. His work is characterised by bold clarity — contemporary without being transient. Working with clients from Noida Extension to South Delhi, Gurgaon and across India.
The Team
A studio of 24.
Our Noida studio is home to 24 architects, interior designers and project specialists. We work in small, senior-led teams of 4–6 on every project — so the people who win your work are the people who design and deliver it. We deliberately take on only 10–12 projects in active design per year.
