GSK Delhi
A warm, biophilic GSK workplace in Delhi that pairs the brand's signature orange identity with soft natural materials — rattan, light oak, plaster textures and layered planting — across reception, workstations, meeting rooms, pantry and cafeteria.
The Brief
GSK Delhi needed a corporate office that softened the conventional pharma workplace — a calmer, more human environment for client arrival, focused work, collaboration and informal breaks, while still carrying the brand with confidence.
Design Response
FMDL organised the floor as a sequence of warm, daylight-led zones: a sculpted-ceiling waiting lounge anchored by the GSK signage and a textured tree wall, open workstations under sculptural rattan light clusters and brand graphics, glass-fronted meeting rooms with ribbon lighting, a green-tiled pantry tucked behind a rattan-clad locker volume, and a cafeteria mural-walled in muted olive with patterned tiles and a coffered rattan ceiling.
Materials & Approach
Light oak joinery, woven rattan screens and pendants, micro-textured plaster walls, olive and forest-green tile patterns, terrazzo and patterned cement flooring, soft beige upholstery, black metal framing and warm cove lighting — all set against GSK's orange brand accent.
Outcome
The Delhi GSK office reads as a calm, premium pharma workplace where brand presence and biophilic warmth coexist — a setting that supports focused work, executive meetings, relaxed client moments and everyday team rituals.
