Pent House Interiors

Noida2024Premium penthouse residence

A layered, contemporary penthouse in Noida — Subodhji's Residence — designed as a sequence of expressive interiors moving from a sculpted entry vestibule through a patterned foyer, a sinuous living lounge, a warm modular kitchen and a statement zebra-mural bedroom.

The Brief

The clients wanted their Noida penthouse to feel like a private gallery — bold, personal and crafted — rather than a standard apartment fit-out. Each room had to read as its own moment while still belonging to one continuous material story across entry, living, dining, kitchen and the master bedroom.

Design Response

FMDL composed the home as a curated walk-through. The entrance opens with a fluted wood door framed by a navy reeded panel and curved timber ceiling, identifying the home as 'Subodhji's Residence'. Inside, a graphic black-and-white foyer wall anchored by a sculpted console and red chandelier sets a maximalist tone. The living room turns sinuous — a stone-clad media wall with inlaid bronze lines, sculpted gilded ceiling and large abstract art. The kitchen softens the palette into warm taupe shutters, fluted glass cabinets and a patterned encaustic backsplash. The master bedroom closes the sequence with a curved blush headboard, a zebra mural and brass-trim wardrobes.

Materials & Approach

Fluted oak veneers, brass inlays, reeded navy panels, sculpted GRC ceiling forms, stone-textured wall finishes, taupe lacquered shutters, fluted glass, encaustic patterned tiles, herringbone wood flooring, velvet and bouclé upholstery, and statement art-wall murals.

Outcome

A penthouse that reads as a curated personal residence — distinctly authored, materially rich and quietly theatrical — each room a set piece in a single, cohesive narrative.
